The package provides client/server programs for TELNET, FTP, and MAIL. A security system allows usernames/passwords and authorizations for each client/server component to be specified for each user. The current implementation uses 8 global regions to support multiple client/server programs simultaneously. The number of regions used by each service is TELNET(1), FTP(2), and MAIL(1). The sources for the 'TCP/IP Package for TSX-Plus' include header, command, C language, and macro files. Included is an executable version of the DECUS C compiler and assembler, as- sorted header files, and the DECUS C library files which may be used to rebuild the package. The "TCP/IP Package for TSX-Plus" is distributed on 5 RX02 type floppy disks. Disks 1 and 2 contain a complete set of files to configure a working system. These disks contain the executable, command, and assorted help, message, text, and con- figuration files. Disks 3 and 4 contain the source code and command files to rebuild the package. Disk 5 contains the DECUS C compiler, AS assembler, and library. This disk also contains the source for the patches applied to the compiler and library. Disks 2 and 4 also contain identical copies of the documenta- tion.
